Maybe in Heaven
Location
Nobody knows.
No one can tell.
No one can see
Into her personal hell.
Her walls are too tall,
They’re built too thick
That no one can hear
Her heart’s tick tick,
Like a time bomb,
Just waiting,
About to explode.
But her walls will protect
Those on the outside.
Her walls will keep in
Her moans as she dies.
Alone by choice,
But driven by fate.
If given a chance,
She’d never choose this hate
For herself , from herself
Though she doesn’t know why
She cries all alone,
And prays she will die.
She’s too afraid
To do the deed herself,
So she asks God for mercy
For an escape from this hell.
All she wants
Is to be free,
To be loved,
To be seen,
For someone to care
Because no one does here.
Maybe in Heaven,
She’ll be held dear.
And maybe in Heaven
She can escape
From the scars on her wrist,
Maybe in Heaven
She’ll finally be safe,
Safe from the horrors
Of a fallen world,
Safe from the laughter
That tore apart that young girl,
Safe from the bullies,
And safe from the pain,
Because it’s said that in Heaven
It never rains.
