1 John 3:19-20

New English Translation

19 And by this we will know that we are of the truth and will convince our conscience in his presence, 20 that if our conscience condemns us, that God is greater than our conscience and knows all things.

As we mature in Christ as more of Him lives through us

The Holy Spirit and conscience walk in very close ranks

My conscience bears me witness in the Holy Spirit

And my walk with the Lord will be humble hand in Hand

When the conscience condemns me, I need repentance right then

For it is God, Who at that very moment, the conscience directs

The conscience speaks of God’s Will and never argues or reasons

He does not need any explanation, for it is truly God who dissects
