Many Lives

Mon, 05/27/2019 - 15:23 -- Rai.M7

Walking down a breached hall

we all assume this is for everyone

yet we cannot see, we are blind

you see that i am happy and content

i see that you are distant and lost

They see privilege and choice

wondering where the path will be paved

we have signs that are already set in line

blind blind, we both are

Next seen as the next

pushing past with little repect

the hearts open, yet the doors close

lies spread through false hope

Taken abruptly we're put on the path

forced harshly, we're knocked off our own

never blind again, though some stay stuck

we all move forward to help those

who we can now see stuck

taken so graciously and thrown in a rut

The path is not chosen but forced in time

those who can see, will change the paradigm
