Mannequins

Pushed and shoved through life

Never knowing when this treacherous life will end

And the hopes and dreams you had for yourself slowly fall apart.

As time takes hold of all the good in your life

And you slowly forget what good is.

You start to wonder if you were ever really meant to be.

Were you ever really normal?

Where did all of the innocence go?

This life of misery, drastic changes and hopeless souls

Slowly drift away to a place unknown.

Pushed and shoved through life

Now I know this life isn’t my own.

For the people around this world suffer like mannequins under a witch’s spell

And like the seasons the suffering repeats without end.

Pushed and shoved through life

Evil never ceases controlling all in its unruly spell

Giving rest to no one as memories of hopes and dreams drift away in the deep dark seas of no return.
