Manipulators

Mark 7:6 New English Translation (NET Bible)

He said to them, “Isaiah prophesied correctly about you hypocrites, as it is written:

‘This people honors me with their lips,
but their heart is far from me.

Manipulators

Go through the mind to the heart

are common ways of the world.

Fill that form in inner thoughts

and thus the heart will swirl.

Until it is full up to the brim

with hazy emptiness.

As we race through life up to the end

with "artificial"  holiness.

Fixation of the mind

our heart has now become.

An extension of some useless thoughts

that you forgot before they began

A clone of your environment,

an extension of its call,

just right below the surface

with a fear that you may fall.

The stench of your own rottenness

becomes perfume to your own senses

and you wonder why others hold their nose

in your presence and your denseness.
