I am the man who killed Jim Crow.
We Were separate but equal./
Armed with education and soul,
A nation free as an eagle./

I killed two birds with one stone
To lead my people to freedom./
We went to war together and came home
Separate but equal./

Victory so many miles away
Together we are able to reach it./
Create a future brighter than today
With righteous practice and preachings./

I am the man who killed Jim Crow.
We Were separate but equal./
Blinded by racial differences
But now we stand together as people./

Rest in Peace Dr. Charles Hamilton Houston
