A Man of Wax
Location
Big and mighty!
Bountiful and plenty is his heart.
So full of nobility and wisdom.
His hands are carved out of stone and are covered in sheep's wool.
His eyes are old and bright with life, the life of the fulfilled.
For no amount of riches nor royalty can give that.
No. For he's much more than a man of his word, but a man of action.
His hands, strong enough to throw iron but gentle enough to wipe the tears of an aching woman's heart.
His laugh, so hearty for his is so genuine.
No other man in the land shines like he does.
His heart, as clear as the spring morning's dew on the petals of a hiding flower.
He picks it out the dark, moist earth and examines it in the glow of the burning fire in the vast painting that spans the globe.
All other men strive to be like him but so they fail,
For he says "It isn't what's in your actions or gestures, no, but what is in your heart. The true hearts of gold shine brightest in the darkest of days when all hope is lost, yet you still hold on."
The heart of hearts isn't found in the richest, but often in the poorest for they still give even though they have nothing for themselves.
They give happiness, hope and the meaning of life for they still live, not weeping in their sorrows.
He gives happiness even when his heart is heavy for he knows that he will make someone's heart as light as an autumn breeze.
Big and mighty.
Bountiful and plenty.
Noble and wise.
Shall I compare thee to things of make believe or the things that should be reality?
