The greatest romance of my life:

My love story with my mother.

I watch her carefully,

As I've done for 19 years

Her elegance, grace

Hands that accomplish everything

A heart that fears nothing

Arms I call home.

My safe place

Showing me this world

Teaching me how to be

To give with love

To be with love

No more fear

No more hate

A guardian angel

How lucky am I

I kiss her cheek

Warmth, radiating

Thank you, Mama.
