Making Hard Lines

Every morning

I wash my hair

And tie it away from my face

So i can see

And i paint my face

In a million colors

And pretend that it always

Looks like that

But then the rain comes

And washes away the paint

And everyone can see

The scars i hide

But who cares

As long as i hide them

When it matters
