Making Changes

It’s hard being woman in today’s times or to these niggas should I say “bitch”,

who they all want to get in bed their whole clique and suck his limp piece,

but I ain’t with that and damn sure ain’t no bitch.

Times have changed, and things will never be the same,

girls walking around half naked to get the title of a dame.

These rappers today are weak, and only brag about how much they make in a week,

but in reality, can’t even make ends meet. Got two and three baby mamma’s,

but don’t want to deal with the dram that THEY inflicted!

Don’t want to go out and get a job, but stay talking about how times are hard.

Want to blame the white man for everything, but don’t want to prove him wrong,

so all these niggas ‘round here singing the same song.

Wouldn’t know responsibility if it slapped them in the face

but could tell you everything about NBA 2k.

What is the point of all this you ask?

The point is for us to make changes instead of sitting on our ass.

Our generation is going downhill,

will buy a gram of weed for a twenty dollar bill.

Too busy trying to become Twitter famous,

Instead of getting an education and making some changes.

We all need to get right, and so do I,

I have looked in the mirror about a thousand times.

Finally got to the point where I have had enough.

I know that if I fix myself it won’t be so rough,

To PROSPER, and make a future for myself,

instead of “turning up” and getting drunk and jeopardizing my health.

Before I go, I want to leave you with this,

God loves you, doesn’t judge, and it is never too late to repent.

Love yourself instead of trying to keep up with the times.

God is watching you and talking to you,

you just have to learn to read between the lines. <3
