Make a Stand and Lend a Hand

There comes a time for us to pray

Ocaasionally, it might be every day

When the stone is thrown

The unknown becomes the known

This is when you need to take a stand

This is when you need to lend a hand

If you don't you will fall

I don't care whether you are short or tall

You have got to stand for something

Or you will become as soft as a dumpling

When you watch from the side

It is as if you have gone to hide

Come into the light

And help dissipate this spite

When you stand up for the right

It's as if you followed the light

Stay gold

You don't always have to do what you are told

If it's from your elders thats different

Just take your time and think coherent
