Lust, Crush, Romance, Love, and Society

Lust

It is but a word to make love seem equal to sin.

To shame those who feel it is a societal choice.

When you lust, you want someone based on your hormones, not your heart.

Lust is seen as a sin worse than sloth, and is charged as such.

A sin strong enough to be detailed as a crime by societal standards.

Crush

It is but a word to make love seem childish.

Not one crush has ever been considered a true relationship.

When you have a crush, it is a simple and non-meaningful want.

Crushing is a pitiful synonym to love…

This is the societal standard.

Romance

It is but a word to describe society’s standard of love.

Romance is what most seek in love now.

When you have romance, it is finally considered love.

Romancing is the only true way to show love

If you consult society’s standards.

Love

It is but a word to describe a raw human emotion.

Love is really a desire for another in the purest and most extreme forms.

When you love, it is considered a painfully sweet existance.

Loving can only be shown by a desire that is emotional, mental, and physical in nature.

If you disagree, you are going against society.

And what individual would dare to go against society?

Those who truly love.
