Lucid Savior

In my slumber I can fly

For I escape the torn asunder of my life

I fly into your arms

Away from danger, away from harm

As I fly through clouds rolling in, a burst of orange dances upon even heavens

A gust of wind picks up and speed beckons

I fly a speed I have never known before

I fly to escape the storm

I fly to your refuge, through your door

Although I am not yours I am equal

You show me love I did not know before

For that I say thank you, grandma, forevermore.
