Loves' Apotrophe

Oh Love! Oh Love! | Thou hast made its way | Through centuries of Father Time | Doing the usual, taking it day by day. | You've moved from the Bible days | To the Olden days | To the Present maze | Into our Future gaze. | You catch people by surprised | And set a glimmer in their eyes. | If (or when) you decide that it's time to go, | Sometimes you also decide to make the get-away really slow. | You make people do all sorts or crazy things | Like men buying hundreds of expensive necklaces and rings | Like women dismissing friends | And committing some rediculous sins. | Sometimes you can be really nice, | But sometimes you can be really really cruel. | But one thing I know for sure: | You make most people act like a fool.
