Love Well-Spent

Yesterday spent

Laughing with you

Today hell-bent

Staying all true

Tomorrow with pain

Through sorrow and tears

I'd be there forever

So you would be here

Time-in, time-out

Bring us closer together

Till we're bound ever tightly

With the hope of forever

When death comes calling

For you or for I

I know we'll be separate

But love will not die

And when on this earth

I've wandered my last

I hope for a future

as good as my past.
