Love like raindrops

Love like raindrops

I know not a single drop of love.
Just like rain,
Love touches everyone.
It makes the dead resurrect;
It always calls for a brighter day.
But it can also flood the city's streets,
And it can drown the grey pavement
Until everything is one big puddle.
Love comes on sad days,
And even when it's sunny outside,
Once in a while,
A little love pours down.
It is easy to admire the rain
From the windowpane
But going out with no raincoat,
Or rain boots
Is a whole different story.
Once we dance in rain,
And let it touch every part of our pale skin,
We will grow.
I do not know a single thing about love.
But I know that I would let it pour down on me if I got the chance.

'I can say I love the rain as much as I want, but dancing in it is a whole new story'
