This is a poem

just to show him

my hatred for love

isn't all of the above

there was one

who made me glow like the sun

his smile

forced me to walk miles

his laughter

promised happily ever after

his words

sang to me like chords 

but anyway

he isn't mine as of today 

so I read this and laugh

knowing he stills remains my better half

he might be reading

and not believing

I wrote an almost sappy love poem

just to show him
