A love lost

Love was in our grasp
Our love was not rasp
This love was flowery and uninhibited
For two and half months it ran un-prohibited
Like a star flashing in the night
Was the love we held with our might

But then that love was lost
Breaking my heart in two
Into madness I fell
Crying, screaming, yelling in that I did dwell
No more the flowery texts and calls
No more the I love you’s and fancy balls
No more good morning or good night
Only my joy gone which hast took flight

Now I sit alone
No one to talk to like Capone
Every day the same routine
Crying, yelling, checking the phone for something
Anything
A sign that she loves me
But alas there is none
For  that love which we once beheld is gone
