Love Life

From the sandbox to the schoolyard
Ice cream dreams and plastic toys
I loved you as a child
And I’ll love you until the end of time.

We were in school
Less time, more stress
But we made sure to see each other
I loved you as a teenager
And I’ll love you until the end of time.

Work became a challenge
Stolen moments, treasured and few
I loved you as an adult
And I’ll love you until the end of time.

Now we’re old and grey
And we need to shout to hear
Yet I love you
And I’ll love you until the end of time.

Month gives way to month,
And year gives way to year,
Decades go by in a flash,
But I love you until the end of time.
