A Love Letter To My Baby

A Love Letter To My Baby

I still remember you as a baby, how you wouldn't let no body hold you

and how when you didn't want to talk to anybody, even if they knew you.

I remember a time of losing your pacifier and buying a new one and you wouldn't even suck it.

The only ones you wanted was the ones you've chewed up,

I tried to break you off them by throwing them all away,

but it seems that every time I turned around you'd been done

found another one every single day!

Yes, you've always had been my unusual child with lots of sass.

I knew that being the fact your first words were so what! and ass.

When they told me you were sick, I bout lost my mind.

I pounded my fists on the wall, and screamed why, why, why!

You don't deserve what has happened to you, no it wasn't anything wrong you did.

You deserve to live a normal childhood life, like any other kid.

In this fight that you have, you'll never fight alone

I'm right here with you, I'll never leave you on your own.

When you cry, I'll cry with you

When I grab a box of Kleenex, I'll be sure to pass a couple to you too.

One thing for sure is I'm going to pour out my faith in God on you.

I know he has a plan for you, he'll never leave you nor forsake you, this I know to be true.

For every tear you've shed, believe me he's shed two

and even though I'm strong and your mom, tough is what I'm supposed to be,

There have been times in my life when I asked God to strengthen me.

If you are here, then here is where I will be too

I will always be here to love and take care of you.

And when I'm gone and there are nights that you are lonely and at the times you ask God why?

I'll be the angel over your shoulder, stroking your hair as you cry.

I am your mother and I always will be,

I am your mother and here with you is where I want to be.

Don't worry about nothing God's got you baby, I know 'cause he's got me too!
