Love, the "it" in divorce

Love is what shapeshift people's hearts,

it aches in the crescent of their brains,

what breaks individuals apart,

but sadly they still have a desire for its remains

Others say no matter the pain one shall love it forevermore,

you cannot give up,

too much has been put into it so that you can just "ignore",

even if it makes you feel corrupt

They tell you as if this will help,

but in reality it's burning you inside,

you begin to yelp,

but they say "fix it" with a sigh

You want to treasure it though are unable to,

however there is no need to linger,

you are no longer the wife of Mr.Manhue,

with no ring on your finger
