Love Discovery

The more we talked the less we found strangers of ourselves,

And the more we remembered,

Remembered about how perfect this world was becoming,

A tingly warmth invaded my body like flame meeting steam

when I saw her name coming from the welcoming buzz of my phone,

I opened the whispers of her thoughts, and red chalk crumpled onto my cheeks,

tinting them as my lips moved into the position of a smile,

Flutters in my stomach as butterflies warmed my heart,

And I embraced the sickness you spread to me,

Willingly, openly
