Love Arises

The love has come alive again.

The fires have been rebuilt.

The beauty that had been broken down,

has come back with flames of guilt.

I thought that all hope was lost,

and that nothing had survived.

But the beauty from the past came back,

with a brisk and easy glide.

How dare I go and tell myself

to try not to survive.

All I had to do was wait,

and my love would come alive.
