Lost Now Strong

Sometimes I just look around,
I see faces, bodies, people,
I am one of them,
But then why do I feeel so alone?

I can look right in the eyes,
The eyes of a desparate man,
Calling for help and attention,
And I can see me.

By others I see what I shouldn't,
I hear what I shouldn't,
But then I do,
I do what I was told I can't.

I have beaten all odds,
Pushed down only to only come up,
Stronger, better, smarter, stronger,
I rise up to be me.

I was once lost,
Scared and alone,
Your not there to stop me anymore,
And now I am strong.
