Snow, where have you gone?
Winter came and went without you.
I have felt the bitterness of cold,
but not from your distinct presence.
I cannot smell the ice mixed with salt that you usually bring.
It’s strange, my eyes are not sore from the blinding rays of white.
I stick my tongue out,
but nothing lands upon it.
I do not hear crunching as I step on the ground.
The shivers and the chilling goosebumps,
have come and gone without you.
I wonder, shall you ever return?
