Lost as I am
Lost as I am,
I survived the raid.
Those throwing stones didn't know my name.
Lost as I am,
still I wait.
The patience came from within.
Lost as I am,
I trusted your judgement,
a mistake I made again and again.
Lost as I am,
I followed the heartbreak,
and it led me to my fate.
Lost as I am,
I never thought that I'd be here.
Socially rejected, living in fear.
Lost as I am,
I continue drawing my map,
the X lays in my lap.
Lost as I am,
I lived through it all,
through the years and through the tears.
Lost as I am,
forever stayed day to day.
I still found my way.
