Lost in Damnation

The door begins to close

A hallway of scattered dirt

The petals begin to fall

Like the letters that I wrote

I made a final plea

For the sky to unfold

To take everything

To take my very soul

As the sun rolled around

And the air heaved with rain

I was drug across the tile

And I took his name in vain

Though the windows are caving in

And I am but a child

By the parting of the day

These words I shall beguile
