Lost
Location
I’m all alone, left nothing to accomplish.
Humans hath not heed death’s approaching voice.
At ends with friends desire death as punish,
For we both walk, but only I life’s choice.
Words, words, words I read with nothing to do.
I hunt them for they hunt me with no rest.
I wait; I wait until the rooster’s crew
For night is full flight in this cold corps’ nest.
Chimes chiming and sun shining, all is well.
The daylight doth protect from this hell’s bite,
And serrated tool help that has no shell
For dead the men whose weapon hath no sleight.
I must with happy thoughts deceive my mind
For man is lost, the end of human kind.
