The Lord made everything good ... then The Fall ...

John 1:3

All things were made through Him,

and without Him nothing was made that was made.

Dis-obedience.

When I call my dog runs off … and he pays no attention

It seems like my Lord calls me ... as I’m lost in pretention

Is my dog ignoring me … or so excited to be free?

I don't listen to The Lord’s voice for I can’t hear nor see

Impatient with my dog … and in thought I’ll threaten

The Lord patiently through His Love just softly beckons

I'll get that stupid dog ... I'll kick him when I get him

I love you son hear My Voice ... I'll guide you to Heaven

The dog returns, rests at my feet … with his eyes begging.

I stand before the Lord … justifying my own madness.

My dog shakes in fear … and cries when I act to hit it

My Lord just looks at me in tears as I appear so little.

My dog loves despite of me ... the way God formed him.

And I, the self-made one, act like a farm raised shrimp

My dog is not mine indeed … it belongs to my Master.

Do I belong to self … in depravity's mold and plaster?

In many ways my dog shows me … to fulfill "my" purpose.

Am I better than my dog … Oh God! Forgive my blunders.
