Look At Me

Please look at me

You never seem to

When you do look what do you see

I don't know what to do

He looks at me he stairs

What look is that when he stares with wide eyes

And looks away with a smile

I am not the best at reading guys

You only see what I have done wrong

What I haven't done

You see the people around me

Comment on how well they did

But what about what I needed you to see

I was up there too

I changed myself so you would

Cant you catch a glimpse

I thought you were the only one who could

I haven't felt the same since

You never saw me

So I seeked for new gazes

But I am not free

Their approval is like mazes

I had to be better

That was the key

Why is it always her

Look At Me
