Look...
Look...
Now baby it's been a while since we've talked,
I want to let you know something,
Even though we're so apart you still have my heart,
From the start you've been the one that made me what I am,
I don't know how to explain but maybe these words will show you what I'm saying,
I think about you constantly,
You're even in my dreams,
Like a football player,
I'm taking one for the team, by telling you,
You're my baby,
My one,
My boothang,
Even though we're not seeing eye to eye I pray that we fly,
Above the expectations of a ol so cruel world,
Above the realization that you are my girl,
Above the measure of any type of ruler,
Above the memorization of our little world,
You've told me a thousand times before that you love me,
I'm siting here waiting on the phone to ring, hoping to hear your voice on the other end.
Yeah, you've been the one from the beginning,
Hopefully you'll remain to the end,
One day this beef will stop and we'll finally make amends,
Your first love you never get over,
Never get pass the pain,
All the things with you that I thought I would gain,
My mind is going insane,
My heart is at it's pump,
I try to speak your name,
But I end up with a lump,
In my throat,
The time is rejecting,
My mind is reflecting,
My body is weak,
My circumstances are meak,
From when you were here and now you're gone, I realize what I've done,
I really fucked up and let go of the one,
But the fact still remains,
Your feelings aren't the same,
I play the outfield but forever out of the game,
I try hard to maintain my demeanor and composure,
I try to to get over,
But can never endure,
So look...
The different visions of the future are merky,
The past is unclear except the fact that you're there but no longer here,
No longer present in the light,
No longer fighting the fight,
Not waiting for an answer from this hard act-a-like,
So in closing I'll say,
That on this day, I'll accept whatever games that are left to be played.
Maybe within due time you'll officially be mine,
But until the end I'll always look back.
