Longing

She writes of people

Things and sounds,

Voices she hears

The pain and frowns

What they say

No one can know

She writes and writes

All to let go

They whisper mean things

Tell her to be cruel

She closes her ears

As she goes to school

Ignoring the voices

She laughs and plays

Shes all okay

Until the end of day

Alone in the dark

She only hears the sounds

She tries not to listen

As she falls to the ground

Take me she prays

She cant take it no more

The pain they bring is worse than the blades

The knots in her stomach burns worse than pills

The drowning but always alive gets tiring

Trying to breathe in, the feeling of dying

Relentless she lives

With the longing of flying

Soaring higher than the voices

All to be okay

Just to live one happy day

Forever she stays.
