The loneliest of the angels
can not be found with the handbells
It will not fly high
as the years go by
It can be seen
At every scene
Is it not the sad who help others?
Is it not the ones with no brothers?
Are the angels truly as they are said?
Do they fly with wings and rings on their head?
Who's to say they are not amongst our grief?
maybe they are the ones who make it brief?
Maybe one is that guy
that you let walk by
and didn't even say hi?
oh how could you lie?
When than kind soul asked if you were fine
and you tossed him to the open line.
Could he have saved your life?
could you have been his wife?
Nay I say! Maybe he needed the saving
He may have needed some God loving praising.
The angel is not always watching you.
You may be the angel he needed too.
