A Living Testimony

Testimony
by Faith Mays

A living Testimony
Made out to be
The Queen one day to a King
Today stand tall
No room to fall
To the memory of hurt experienced in all
Faintly touched by enemies unknown
Little girl, Little girl
Don’t listen to them moan
Look past the pain of the past
And become the person they wish they messed with last
Successful today
With a high GPA
Focused on the Lord
Who acts as her sword
No pain of the past
To stay in the way
Of this young Queen of a new day
A living Testimony
Made out to be
The Queen of the one sincere King
