Living But Dead

Our heart are like the missing pieces
Of a puzzle long forgot
Clicked together years too late
Time taken, passing, stolen

We knew not of each other’s life
Flying fast towards death
Until the finish line, too soon
Peaked into our view

Now death has taken
What time had forsaken
