Live America, Breathe America

Location

Live America, breathe America, still not enough to be accepted in America

Noticed first and foremost by your beautiful face

But you were judged instead by your race

And yet you handled it all with grace,

Saying something about those of us who

Live America, breathe America, who are still not enough to be accepted in America

I remember faintly a referal to a 'melting pot'

But I guess that notion ended, I guess that America just forgot

Watch the character of this country slowly rot

as you still

Live America, breathe America, yet you are still not enough to be accepted in America

I'm sorry that you're standing so alone,

But thank you for inspiring the girls at home

Who question who they are as if there's something wrong

although they

Live America, breathe America, as best as they can for acceptance in America.
