Live

Galatians 5:16

16 But I say, live by the Spirit and you will not carry out the desires of the flesh.

“To be led by” the Lord Jesus and “to walk in” His presence

brings Glory to God ... in the utmost High.

Is that the obedience expected by our Savior

to just follow in His footsteps to make all things right?

That does not appear difficult but it takes concentration.

His steps are not so wide apart ... that I have to jump.

More like a casual walk ... with determination

taking one step at the time with a focus not to slump.

The Holy Spirit with me ... to point out any problems

praying for me gently ... every time I fall

and when I get weary or need some rest

He’ll point out the time and place in answer to my call.

Never traveled alone ... there is always someone with me.

Even when awareness fails ... He is faithful at my side.

In my chosen blindness ... I’m hampered to be free

but His unconditional love always makes things right.
