A Little White Lie

Mon, 06/16/2014 - 16:37 -- emgat

A little white lie changes a life

Your little white lie changed my mind

Quite like a gentleman

I thought this love was genuine

A change to be your heroine

Your motive was fleeting

Your lie was deceiving

Naive, I kept on believing

The chance I took

The truth you shook

I began to take a better look

The lie: potential to grow

The lie: my wisdom to know

Alas, my heart sank low

A little white lie leaves a stain

You little white lie remains in vain

The moments we chased

The trials we faced

Memories, I wish erased
