Little White Box
A little white box looks at me and mocks
How my anxiety chains me and locks
Me from smooth reply. After more tick-tocks.
My stock's in a snap to someone who rocks.
Spiraling in routes, out seeking to sprout
Infernal doubt about personal clout.
If closed is my mouth, inside I shout;
But should I chill out or go for the rout?
If bound by blame or shyest shame,
Let in the brain but don't let the heart tame.
The stars you fame wish exactly the same;
To proudly proclaim the love is the aim.
Tranquility rings in face of cold stings
As a blue jay sings over Ozark springs.
Rejoice in the things that everyone brings
As harmony swings and strokes the heartstrings
