Little left

Luke 18:16 New English Translation (NET Bible)

16 But Jesus called for the children, saying, “Let the little children come to me and do not try to stop them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.

Dressed in black like penguins out of their environment

No appreciation for a truly dedicated life

Completely out of rhythm in a self-destructive tent

Stumbling every minute not once but trice

Observed from above by questioning eyes

Admired by mankind who doesn’t know any better

Through the years preparing, ready to be fried

Long live the king of smarts, does it really matter?

Children enjoying life happy to be breathing

Surrounded by adults and their belly-aching

Long live innocence in birth always repeating

but hard is the fall of the artificial in the making

Lots of rain and more won’t help dried up bones

Only God can supply somehow life to it all

Palaces and mansions are now replacing homes

Where once love resided in the united family call

Divorce now so prevalent and children out of wedlock

Disobedience to God celebrated oft like freedom

Degrading emotions with desire run amok

Integrity and honesty compromised or gone
