Listened

Colossians 3:5

So put to death whatever in your nature belongs to the earth:

sexual immorality, impurity, shameful passion, evil desire,

and greed which is idolatry.

Listened

We listened to reality ... and then forgot it again.

What is it in our structure that does not want problems?

When uncertainty peeks around ... we’ll look the other way

and rather not face the facts ... with all the consequence.

It must be in our nature ... to take the easy way out.

It must be ingrained in us ... to dislike obstacles.

Particularly the ones we can’t see or the ones that are expected

those come to face us every day ... to perform their spectacle.
