Linger

You were the ghost in my closet. You told me lies in the silence. Sang me songs of violence. The whisperer of pure evil. The flies you spat flew around. As I sold you secrets by the pound. You continued to linger, But that's when I held up my finger. I learned the truth. Your name was Sin. Never to be trusted again.
