In the darkness everything fades away

Nothing is seen

Feeling are hidden

Shouts and screams drown in the obscurity

Dreams are washed away

Yet in the darkness one tiny gleam of light can illuminate a world

I write so that my words will never fade

So that my feelings will never be forgotten

I write so that everyone can hear me scream, shout, and cry

For one day they shall look back

And they will see a life that never faded away
