Light To Dark

The daylight fades

The truth comes through

A deep purple

Or possibly a blue

The lies show

in the heat of the day

then begin to slowly

fade away

She cries out

the pain is real

the dark is suffocating

she begins to feel

Light for good,

is that true?

Or is it an illusion?

A false hue?

The dark shrouds

the truth hidden away

or does it reveal?

Clearer than day?

Popular demand

can bring about lies.

Reality only built

behind closed eyes.

The dark reveals,

the light hides.

The contrast is real,

the truth built on lies.
