Light

Tue, 08/14/2018 - 11:00 -- spyrkle

A smile hiding seams

Of frustration, of anger, of annoyance.

Never to despair.

Never to give in.

Such is her power.

Watching this,

There is naught I can do

But follow.

Daughter to mother,

To reach forward

Following the twinkling lights

Of her loving advice.

There is naught I can do

But emulate someone

who has taught me so much.

Me
My family
