Light ...

Psalm 112:4

In the darkness a light shines for the godly,
for each one who is merciful, compassionate, and just.

Lighting up the darkness … to discover what is there

The same thing as daylight but only partially exposed

Bargaining with spotlights ... what truly should be seen

In every life’s situation ... even with both eyes closed

Sitting around in solitude ... dreaming in the dark

Here and there a light hoping Christmas stays around

Special time of the year ... mostly because of lights

Brightening the houses ... which normally can’t be found

Is it such in life with many folks around me?

As only here and there ... one lights up the night

A world lost in darkness ... with shadows everywhere

where nothing true is seen ... unless with “candlelight”
