Life Within

Nothing is truer than the sky.
Night falls and shifts to black
Encasing all beneath a blinding haze.
It turns life dark in a single shadow.

The freedom of the day has fled with the light,
The once bright air shifts and twists,
Shifts and twists, until its radiance vanishes.
Motionless, voiceless, yet undead.
