Life, Keep It Moving

Life rolls up on me
Tells me to step aside
To get off the road God gave me
And let it pass by

Life says the path I'm going down is too wild and new
If I let Life take over, I'll be free and safe
I push Life aside
And start walking by

I go my own way
Face my own battles
You can catch me walking
To the pace of my soul
Passing Life by
As chill as a breeze

Life will come again
To make me trip and stumble
Fall I may
But I won't stay
I'll get up and keep it moving

God gave me a road to follow
And Life just has to watch me
Pass it by
I got things to do
And I'm not scared of anything new

I'll be mine
So Life, you can just let me pass on by.
