They see, but they don't know.
They hear, but they do not understand.
Every day we stand guard.
We sit, we watch, we wait
To be called into action.
But we take the role of a servant
Preferring the slow days.
This, however, is not so with me.
I hope, I pray, I dream of the day
When I will operate only on knowledge and adrenaline
The day that will change everything.
But for now, I must wait
And hope nothing happens to them.
For they are my friends.
Without them, I have nothing. With them, I have everything.
It's better if they don't know or understand.
