Life of a Dog

Grew up in a dog pound

Knowing I would never be found

Waiting to fight another round

I’m just another hound

I'm just another hound

Let me tell you the sad truth

About a pit in his youth

I was as happy as could be,

Living with Mommy and Daddy

Sold my brother and me

Until I set him free

He was the only escapee

I grew up a fighter,

Training,

I was the “Decider”

Until one day,

That was what I no longer desired

Grew up in a dog pound

Knowing I would never be found

Waiting to fight another round

I’m just another hound (x2)

I was unbreakable,

The dog known to eliminate ya’

A champion by heart

Killing was my art

I had no choice

I had no voice

Kill or be killed

I was unfulfilled;

Killer I was fabled

But please just ignore the labels

I’m feeling unstable

Look what I’ve prevailed

I found my brother,

Only to see him be cremated.

I’m on the path of vengeance.

With evil intentions,

I feel the injections

Grew up in a dog pound

Knowing I would never be found

Waiting to fight another round

I’m just another hound

I'm just another hound
